# FOLD — sample file guide

An original Object Bloom lamp concept, not a client commission. This sample shows how one digital object can support several finishes and coordinated product images.

## Start with the images

Extract `fold-sample.zip`, then open the `FOLD/images` folder. Double-click a JPG to view it in your usual photo app. There are six compositions, each supplied in JPG and PNG at 1600 × 1200 pixels: twelve image files, not twelve different views.

| File name (JPG and PNG) | What it shows |
| --- | --- |
| 01-ivory-hero | Complete lamp, ivory finish |
| 02-iris-hero | Same lamp, iris finish |
| 03-graphite-hero | Same lamp, graphite finish |
| 04-ivory-front | Straight-on ivory view |
| 05-pleat-detail | Shade detail |
| 06-base-detail | Stem and base detail |

JPG is convenient for sharing. PNG is an alternative image format of the same view; the extension alone does not promise a transparent background. The smaller WebP previews on our website are separate from these full-size files.

## Open a model locally

The `FOLD/models` folder contains `fold-ivory.glb`, `fold-iris.glb` and `fold-graphite.glb`. Each is the same lamp with a different finish. Start with ivory. Model units are meters.

In Blender, use **File → Import → glTF 2.0 (.glb/.gltf)** and select the GLB. Select the imported objects and use **View → Frame Selected** in the 3D viewport. Switch to Material Preview to inspect the materials. The file imports locally; no upload is needed. If the import option is unavailable, check your Blender installation against its [official glTF instructions](https://docs.blender.org/manual/en/latest/addons/import_export/scene_gltf2.html).

GLB contains mesh geometry and materials that compatible tools can import. It is not a Blender project, parametric CAD file or the complete image-production scene. Lighting and rendering vary between viewers, so opening the GLB will not reproduce the JPG automatically. Keep an untouched copy before editing.

## What this sample includes

Six still-image compositions, three GLB finish files and this guide. A video, website viewer, configurator, installation and hosting are not included in this ZIP. Putting a model on a website requires a compatible viewer and separate setup. These are visualization assets, not manufacturing or engineering documents; print readiness has not been established.

## Sample use and a commissioned handoff

This download lets you inspect our studio work. It does not establish a commercial-use or redistribution license, transfer ownership, or represent a product available to manufacture. Contact [hello@objectbloom.com](mailto:hello@objectbloom.com) to agree any use beyond evaluation.

For a commissioned project, the written quote confirms your permitted uses, file formats, editable source files, views, finishes, review rounds and any installation or support. The six-view sample is not the scope of every package: the simple product model starts with one finish and two images; your selected quote controls delivery.

If a file will not open, tell us its name and the app/version you used. Do not send private product references to a public viewer; we can arrange a restricted project folder.
